About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at hireVouch. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • ETL Process Development: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our systems.
  • SQL Database Management: Maintain and optimize our SQL database containing a cost model, ensuring data security, performance, and availability.
  • Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with the data scientist and development team to establish and enhance development processes, and document technical designs, procedures, and guidelines to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
  • Release Management: Oversee the release management process, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely deployment of software solutions.
  • Dashboard Development: Create dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making within the organization.
  • Power Apps Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in software development, with a focus on ETL processes, SQL database management, and Power Apps development.
  • Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills, experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines, proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps development, and experience in dashboard development and data visualization tools.
  • Previous Experience: Previous exposure to supporting data science initiatives.
