Centurize Construction Services is seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Mix paint to desired color and texture.
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
- Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.
- Estimate costs and materials.
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
- or equivalent experience
- Attention to detail
- Hand-eye co-ordination
- Ability to distinguish between colors
- Bending, crouching, kneeling
- Physically demanding
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
