About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.

  • Authorize payments by cheque and return of merchandise, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and minimizing overtime.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights for business growth and development.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of office and volunteer staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
