Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team at Western Insulation Ltd. as a Site Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from the site.
  • Erect and Dismantle Forms and Scaffolding: Help to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Assist in performing routine maintenance work on equipment and tools.
  • Remove Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Tend to Equipment: Tend to or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
  • Fill Cavities: Fill cavities as required.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced construction environment with a focus on safety and quality. The work site will be physically demanding, with repetitive tasks and a requirement for attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, and hardworking.
