- Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
- Repair and Maintain Machine Tools: Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Set Up and Adjust Production Machinery: Set up and adjust production machinery to meet specific production requirements.
- Fabricate and Assemble Components: Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Maintain Quality Control: Maintain quality control by verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments and documenting any deviations from specifications.
- Document and Report: Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
