Job Title: Community Health Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Health Worker to join our team at Northern Health Authority.

About the Role

As a Community Health Worker, you will provide home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan. Your key responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, promoting maximum independence, and ensuring the well-being of individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene
  • Promote maximum independence and well-being of individuals and families
  • Perform delegated tasks for which delegation of tasks training has been completed
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized Home Support Attendant/Resident Care Aid Program
  • Registration with the BC Care Aid & Community Health Worker Registry
  • Valid Class 5 BC Drivers' License
  • Certificates in CPR, First Aid, and Food Safe
  • Use of personal vehicle
