Job Summary

The Bilingual Clinical Specialist is a key member of the Medline Industries Inc. team, responsible for providing clinical expertise and support to the Acute Care healthcare market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce Medline products and programs to customers.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and in-services to educate customers on existing and potential products.
  • Work closely with sales representatives and clinical staff to:
    • Attend team meetings and presentations.
    • Provide ongoing education and training as outlined by Medline and national brands.
    • Support healthcare facilities in policy and practice development.
  • Assist the sales team in planning and conducting product evaluations and implementations.
  • Be available for training and education purposes, including in-services and implementations.
  • Complete clinical summaries of visits and account updates on a regular basis.
  • Travel to service customers in various territories as needed.
  • Attend local and national trade shows and conferences as required.
  • Communicate and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for Medline personnel.
  • Assist in the training of newly hired personnel.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current registration required.
  • Broad experience in nursing, preferably 2-3 years.
  • Operating Room experience essential, with 2-3 years required.
  • University Nursing Degree or College Nursing Diploma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Bilingual English and French required.
  • Expertise in operating room procedures, wound care, and continence management an asset.
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint, required.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated individual with an outgoing and affable personality.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Driver's license required.
