Job Title: Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic Helper to join our team at Winnipeg Central Fleet Care Corp.

Job Summary:

The Mechanic Helper will assist our mechanics in performing various tasks, including moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.

Responsibilities:
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities to ensure accurate measurements
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to prevent accidents
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed by the team lead
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Steel-toed safety boots required
