Assistant Store Manager Job Description

About the Role:

The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of our retail team, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in maintaining exceptional Guest Services. This role requires a strong focus on developing staff, controlling expenses, and ensuring maximum sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales and operational goals
  • Monitor and control expenses, including inventory management and shrinkage reduction
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain a positive and inclusive store environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18
  • Prior retail and management experience required
  • Ability to work in excess of 8 hours standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
