Job Title: Behaviour Technician

Job Summary:

Mackenzie Health is seeking a Behaviour Technician to join our team at the Centre for Behaviour Health Sciences. As a Behaviour Technician, you will provide assessment and treatment services, including training and staff support, in the delivery of behavioural services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Behaviour Consultant in designing and implementing skills promotion and behaviour intervention programs.
  • Work within Standards of Practice as outlined by the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis.
  • Develop and implement training for mediators on the principles and procedures of applied behaviour analysis.
  • Provide on-going education to community agencies and parents.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Psychology and related experience or equivalent.
  • Current certification in First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and a vehicle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analytic terminology and concepts.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in a Windows environment.
  • Proven attendance record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training and experience in crisis prevention.
  • Fluency in French language.
