Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Windshield Repair and Replacement Specialist to join our team at Steele Auto Group. As a key member of our auto glass services team, you will be responsible for the repair and replacement of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect windshields and other automotive glass to determine the extent of damage.
  • Repair chips and cracks using specialized tools and techniques.
  • Remove and replace damaged windshields and other glass components.
  • Ensure proper fit and secure installation of new glass.
  • Clean and prepare glass surfaces for installation.
  • Apply primer and adhesive systems according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining the work performed and answering any questions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto glass technology.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification from a recognized auto glass technician training program preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto glass repair and replacement.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy glass and equipment.
