Job Title: Heavy Diesel Engine Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our team at Oakes Truck Sales. As a Heavy Diesel Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing faults using computerized and other testing equipment, and performing repair work on heavy trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Requirements:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
