Position Overview

Breda Machinery Inc is seeking a Skilled Welding Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and integrity of our metal products through expert welding techniques.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in welding is necessary.
Work Environment

The position will involve working in various locations, adapting to different settings as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply welding process specifications accurately.
  • Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment with precision.
  • Utilize flame-cutting equipment effectively.
  • Handle metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines such as brakes and shears.
  • Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal components as needed.
  • Assess the weldability of different materials to ensure optimal results.
  • Operate welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Certifications

Possession of a Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate is mandatory for this position.

Physical Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination is required for precise work.
Employment Details

This is a permanent position, with an expected workload of 32 hours per week. The primary language of work will be English.
