Position Overview

TADKA KING CORP. is seeking a dedicated Bartender to enhance our beverage service experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting bar area while providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bar Maintenance: Ensure the bar area is clean and organized, including washing glassware and maintaining the draft beer system.
  • Customer Service: Serve food and snacks, and offer recommendations on wine selections to enhance the dining experience.
  • Staff Training: Assist in training new staff members to uphold service standards.
  • Sales Management: Collect payments, record beverage sales, and balance cash and credit transactions.
  • Inventory Control: Manage bar stock by ordering supplies and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations to ensure responsible service.
  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare a variety of drinks, including mixed beverages, wines, and non-alcoholic options.
Qualifications

Education: No formal degree required.

Experience: A minimum of 7 months experience in a similar role is preferred.

Work Schedule: This is a permanent position requiring 40 hours of work per week.

Language: Proficiency in English is required.
