Deli Specialist

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Team Member to join our team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our deli department, providing exceptional service to our valued members and guests. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from preparing and merchandising delicious food items to maintaining a clean and inviting environment.

• Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting members and guests warmly, assisting with product selection, and resolving any inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Food Preparation & Presentation: Prepare a variety of deli items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Product Management: Receive and stock incoming deliveries, maintain accurate inventory levels, and ensure proper product rotation.
• Department Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing deli area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Teamwork & Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and has a genuine interest in the food industry. You should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork. Previous experience in a deli or similar environment is an asset.
