About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Green & Gold Cleaning. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning team, ensuring that our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of sites and facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to recommend additional services to clients, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Assist Cleaners: Assist cleaning staff in performing their duties, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for cleaning staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the cleaning industry.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Wet/damp, odours, dusty, dirty.
  • Work Setting: Cleaning service company.
  • Tasks: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the cleaning industry.
