About the Role

CANTINA ROOFING & SHEET METAL INC. is seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, metal roofs, and tile roofs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair roofing systems on commercial and residential buildings, ensuring a watertight seal and compliance with industry standards.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces, using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Install and repair metal roofs, using hand and power tools, and ensuring a secure and durable finish.
  • Install sheet metal flashings, using precision cutting and fitting techniques.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in roofing installation and repair.
  • Physical stamina to work at heights, in outdoor environments, and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work with precision tools.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
Working Conditions
  • Work at heights and in outdoor environments, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions.
Language and Work Environment
  • English or French language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week work schedule.
