Job Title: Package Delivery Driver at UPS

UPS is looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a dynamic, physically demanding outdoor setting, responsible for delivering packages to residential locations. Our Package Delivery Drivers must possess outstanding customer service abilities and demonstrate proficient driving skills.

Eligible candidates are required to hold a valid class 5 driver's license or higher issued in Quebec. Adherence to UPS's appearance standards is expected. Familiarity with local neighborhoods and strong map-reading capabilities are beneficial, as drivers may navigate through various residential zones.

COMPENSATION

  • Starting Hourly Rate: $17.00/hour + $3.00/hour bonus
  • Maximum Rate: $32.99/hour (progression over 48 months)
  • Paid weekly via direct deposit every Friday
  • Immediate access to UPS 'Employee Discounts' upon hiring
  • Paid training provided
  • Opportunities for career advancement

SCHEDULE

  • Start time between 9 AM and Noon, Tuesday to Saturday
  • Approximately 40 to 45 hours per week
  • Working hours are contingent on volume and not guaranteed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (35kg) unassisted and 150 lbs. (68kg) with assistance
  • Proficiency in reading and utilizing map books
  • Minimum age of 21 (for insurance purposes)
  • Valid class 5 driver's license
  • Driver's abstract required prior to road test
  • Clean Driver's Abstract: a) No at-fault accidents in the last 3 years b) No traffic violations in the last 12 months
  • Bilingual skills are an asset
