About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at IG Wealth Management. As a key member of our Corporate Communications team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic communications for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement media relations campaigns to secure media coverage and build relationships with key journalists and influencers.
  • Write and edit content for a variety of external and internal audiences, including press releases, social media posts, and advisor-focused articles.
  • Manage content delivery, including translation, design, digital, and multimedia requirements.
  • Work closely with the external PR agency team to ensure campaigns are executed effectively.
  • Monitor and report on metrics to measure campaign success.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in corporate communications or a PR agency environment, with a strong understanding of media relations and integrated PR campaigns.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to balance corporate tone with attention-grabbing storytelling.
  • Experience implementing communications campaigns for external and internal audiences.
  • Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Analytics an asset.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications or Public Relations, with bilingualism in English and French considered an asset.
