About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Raikot Transportation Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our trucks, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Obtain Special Permits: Obtain any necessary special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Operate and maintain our trucks, ensuring that they are in good working condition and that all necessary safety checks are performed.
  • Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain all equipment, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Perform Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed to ensure that our trucks are back on the road as quickly as possible.
  • Record and Track Information: Record and track all relevant information, including cargo details, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Transport Hazardous Goods: Transport and handle hazardous goods safely and in accordance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
