Job Title: Behaviour Analyst

Empower Simcoe is seeking a Behaviour Analyst to join our team. As a Behaviour Analyst, you will be responsible for providing clinical skills instructions and developing individualized Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to individuals in home and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement BSPs to assist individuals with challenging behaviours to maintain a better quality of life.
  • Provide clinical skills instructions and develop individualized BSPs based on the principles of ABA.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clinical partners, community agencies, and practitioners, to coordinate comprehensive care and support for individuals supported by Empower Simcoe.
  • Develop and oversee implementation of individual behaviour protocols and plans, and organize community follow-up and consultation.
  • Responsible for obtaining necessary consents for assessments, analysis, and treatment plans, as well as following appropriate storage and retention methods to maintain privacy and security of documents.
Requirements:
  • Proven successful completion of a master's degree, specializing in psychology, education, or other subjects related to the field of behavioural science.
  • Registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario with a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) designation and in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Formal training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of five years recent full-time clinical work experience working as a professional within a multidisciplinary team providing behaviour analytic services to various populations with ABA, conducting behaviour assessments, developing behaviour interventions, and analyzing data.
