Join Our Team as a 310S Licensed Automotive Mechanic

We are currently seeking a committed and proficient 310S licensed automotive mechanic to become part of our growing team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in the upkeep and repair of a diverse range of vehicles, ensuring smooth project execution and peak vehicle performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose and address mechanical issues in vehicles, focusing on engine systems, transmission, brakes, electrical components, and other relevant systems.
  • Repair and replace faulty parts efficiently, utilizing the appropriate tools and methods while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance and aiding in future maintenance planning.
  • Conduct proactive inspections to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate, ensuring the vehicles' safety and reliability.
  • Collaborate with team members to effectively organize work orders and complete tasks, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and industry trends.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required, contributing to the overall success of the maintenance team.

Qualifications:

  • 310S mechanic license in good standing from the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario.
  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive repair, preferably in a construction or similar industrial setting.
  • Thorough knowledge of engine systems, transmission, brakes, electrical components, and other relevant automotive systems.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with a proven ability to resolve complex mechanical problems.
  • Proficient in using both power and hand tools for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, promoting a collaborative and efficient work atmosphere.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A keen attention to detail, ensuring precision in all repair and maintenance tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
