About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring and mixing the right quantities of drugs and other ingredients.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication, check prescriptions for proper dosage, and maintain medication profiles of customers.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of 3-4 people and ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain licensure by provincial or territorial authorities and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • Experience: Experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting is an asset.
  • Certifications: Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
