Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement plans for fabricating and repairing boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels
  • Layout and shape metal using metalworking machines and oxy-fuel torches
  • Fabricate and assemble parts using electric arc welding equipment
  • Ensure all work is done to the highest standards of quality and safety
Working Conditions

Boilermakers typically work on construction sites, often in cramped and dirty conditions with exposure to chemical vapors, wetness, and high noise levels.

Requirements
  • Journeyman certification in Boilermaking
  • Experience working with heavy equipment and at heights
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with project management software
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
