We are seeking a top-tier Risk Analyst to join our Corporate Services team and support our construction operations by applying your expertise to various Corporate Services business initiatives. About the Role

The Risk Analyst will play a critical role in the prequalification of subcontractors to ensure that we are aligning the unique expertise and experience of each subcontractor with the specific requirements of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete risk assessments of potential subcontractors to ensure that they have the experience, operational capacity, and financial resources required to work with Graham.
  • Assist project teams with the development of subcontractor management plans to mitigate the risk of subcontractor defaults.
  • Support the management and administration of our subcontractor default insurance program.
  • Maintain strong relationships and open communication with internal project teams to promote awareness of risk management practices and procedures.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with subcontractors with a strong emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Respond to questions from internal and external sources regarding the prequalification and approval process.
  • Participate in formal risk management training sessions to promote and reinforce responsible risk management practices and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, accounting, finance, or a similar business-related field.
  • CIP or CRM professional designation an asset.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in risk management, underwriting (surety or commercial), or supply chain management role.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis.
  • Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite.
