About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director, Logistics Operations to join our team at CLIMAX LOGISTICS INC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our trucking company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Departmental Management: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Leadership: Establish objectives for the organization, formulate or approve policies and programs, and represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Talent Management: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, team player, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
