Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Dr. Nariman Forootan Dentistry. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfecting and Sanitizing: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Work Schedule:

40 hours per week.

Language of work: English.
