About the Role

The ideal candidate will be a successful salesperson with strong industry experience interested in using their existing network to establish a practice at CC&L Private Capital. They will pursue business development activities directly with high-net-worth individuals and not-for-profits, or by way of independent financial advisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to establish a strong client base
  • Provide exceptional client servicing and support to existing clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and not-for-profits
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of related industry experience
  • Undergraduate degree; CIM + 2 years Registered Investment Management Experience or CFA required
  • Preference of having current registration or confidence to gain AAR or CRM-AR registration with the appropriate Securities Commissions on hire
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a high level of integrity
  • Natural relationship building and networking skills
  • Great communicator with excellent presentation abilities
  • Deep understanding of financial markets and investment management
