Job Title: Trucking Company General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trucking Company General Manager to join our team at In & Out Express Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Trucking Company General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our trucking company, including managing resources, coordinating work, and establishing financial and administrative controls. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Allocate resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments
  • Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal awareness and team player skills
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be willing to relocate and will have a valid driver's license. The work environment will be fast-paced, with tight deadlines and a requirement for attention to detail.
