We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a Nurse - Wiichihiituwin Liaison, you will play a vital role in coordinating and organizing visits for our clients, ensuring seamless communication between healthcare providers and community members.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Wiichihiituwin (Cree Patient Services) department to coordinate visits and prepare clients for medical appointments.
- Review medical consultations and reports to ensure accurate and timely information is shared with healthcare providers and community members.
- Act as a liaison between clients, hospitals, and communities, facilitating effective communication and care coordination.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families, promoting health and wellness in the community.
- Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q.
- DEC in Nursing.
- Two (2) years of experience as a nurse.
- Fluent in English and French; fluency in Cree is an asset.
