Position Overview

The role of a Personal Support Worker at Brockbank Residence involves providing essential assistance to clients in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a relevant trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment
  • Setting: Non-smoking facility.
  • Relocation: Candidates must be willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as required.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene tasks.
  • Encourage and assist in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Support clients during meal times, including feeding assistance.
  • Perform mending of clothing and linens as needed.
  • Conduct light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals tailored to client needs.
Certifications Required
  • CPR Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • Personal Support Worker Certification
