About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic - Millwright to join our team at Ecolomondo Environmental (Hawkesbury) Inc. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English or French
  • Hours: 37.5 to 42 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience
Work Setting

The successful candidate will be working in a commercial facility, retail/wholesale establishment, or distribution centre, where they will be responsible for:

  • Machinery installation
  • Maintenance
  • Repair
  • Overhaul
  • Machine set-up
Key Tasks
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions: The Industrial Mechanic - Millwright will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues with machinery and equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts: The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing or replacing defective parts to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up: The Industrial Mechanic - Millwright will be responsible for fabricating parts as needed to support equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery: The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Construction Millwright Trade Certification
  • Propane in Construction Record of Training
  • Forklift Operator Certification
