Job Title: Financial Planning Specialist

Rakuten Kobo Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for analyzing financial and investment information, preparing company outlooks and analytical reports, and advising on financial aspects of contracts and calls for tender.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine and analyze financial and investment information to inform business decisions
  • Prepare company, industry, and economic outlooks, analytical reports, and briefings notes
  • Advise on and participate in the financial aspects of contracts and calls for tender
  • Assist in preparing operating and investment budgets
  • Plan short- and long-term cash flows and assess financial performance
  • Prepare a regular risk profile for debt portfolios
  • Variance analysis
  • Enforce policies and procedures
  • Conduct follow-up assessments
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Due diligence
