We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team at Barrie Truck & Trailer Repair Tire Center. As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Welds: Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Operate Welding Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Determine Material Weldability: Assess the weldability of various materials.
  • Fabricate and Repair Metal Parts: Use welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintain Equipment: Perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Language and Hours: English language, 35 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
