We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team at Mordecai Schlisser. As a caregiver, you will provide essential support and care to elderly individuals and those with physical disabilities in a home setting.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and provide personal care to clients
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, including cooking and food preparation
- Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and linen care
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients to promote social interaction and well-being
- Perform tasks such as feeding, bathing, and dressing clients as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition to management
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods
As a caregiver with Mordecai Schlisser, you will work in a non-smoking environment with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note that this is not a condition of employment.
