Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Wellness Home Healthcare Services. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live safely in their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Health and Wellness: Assist with medication management, provide basic first aid, and promote healthy habits and lifestyle choices.
  • Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
Work Environment

As a Caregiver Assistant with Wellness Home Healthcare Services, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to clients in their own homes. You will be required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, and may be exposed to physical demands such as lifting and transferring clients.
