Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food preparation and service team, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting performance expectations.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Manage Budget and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work with staff to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports to management as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
