Academic Support Specialist - Educational Foundations
As an Academic Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the preparation and delivery of lectures; evaluating student work, providing guidance, supervising assessments, holding consultation hours, organizing practical activities, overseeing educational excursions, and collaborating with the supervising faculty as necessary.
Your work will primarily take place within the College of Education, where you will report to the department head of Educational Foundations.
Required Work Hours: 65 hours throughout the academic term or approximately 5 hours weekly.
Employment Duration: Regular academic session.
Course Title and Code: EFDT 301, Educator Identity in Contexts: Anti-Oppressive and Ethical Beginnings.
Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)
Progress towards a degree (or equivalent graduate qualification).
