About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to guide our Outpatient Mental Health and Addiction Services team. As the Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care within this vital area of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for outpatient mental health and addiction services, ensuring alignment with UHN's overall goals and priorities.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, including resource allocation, staff supervision, and performance management.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and professional growth among staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of care across the continuum.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and rights, ensuring access to timely and appropriate services.
  • Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the field of mental health and addiction.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in mental health and addiction, coupled with proven leadership and management experience. A Master's degree or higher in a relevant field is required, along with current registration with the appropriate professional body.
