As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment buildings, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and well-maintained appearance.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
- Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
- Perform safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our residents and staff.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a pleasant and welcoming environment.
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
- Will train for the role.
