Position Overview

The role of a Childcare Specialist involves providing attentive and nurturing care for children in a home environment. This position is essential for ensuring the well-being and development of children in the absence of their parents.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in childcare is considered an asset.
Work Environment
  • Non-smoking household.
  • Work is conducted in the employer's or client's residence.
  • Relocation expenses will be covered by the employer.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household during the absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
  • Accompany the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and household duties.
  • Care for infants and children by bathing, dressing, and feeding them.
  • Implement discipline strategies as directed by parents.
  • Guide children in personal hygiene and social skills development.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy home environment.
  • Organize engaging activities, including games and outings for children.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Assist infants and children during rest periods.
  • Supervise and provide care for children.
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments.
  • Attend to the emotional needs of children.
