About This Role
This position plays a crucial part in the success of our Capital Markets business by providing expert technical support for our electronic trading platforms. As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to our trading systems, ensuring seamless execution of trades and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for our electronic trading platforms, including ION, Anvil, Bloomberg, and customized Algo solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Front Office, Middle Office, Risk Management, and Application Development, to resolve technical issues and improve system performance
- Develop and implement enduring, robust technology solutions to support our trading operations
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our systems remain competitive and secure
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Expert knowledge of electronic trading technologies and Capital Markets domain
- Experience supporting trading exchanges and front-to-back Trading Systems
- Fixed Income functional knowledge, particularly treasuries and bond trading expertise
- Understanding of financial markets and products, especially Fixed Income markets
- Experience with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure support teams
- Proficiency with technologies: Linux RH, Windows Server, Oracle, SQL, Python
