About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Conveyancer to join our client, a top premier boutique commercial law firm in downtown Vancouver. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients and industry leaders in the Province.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, outside counsel, and staff, providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
- Prepare and manage documents, including commercial transactions, and provide logistical support as needed.
- Perform due diligence searches, including BC Online registrations, Personal Property Registry registrations, and LTSA searches, to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Review financing facility letters, create and organize files, and revise security documents as required, ensuring compliance with lender's solicitors' requirements.
- Prepare closing books, trust reconciliations, billing, and reporting letters, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet critical deadlines.
- Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 9, including Word and Excel, and experience with PC Law and ALF is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and make sound judgments.
