Exciting Career Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist to join our client's high-impact team in Toronto, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving their success in providing technical instrumentation, kits, and reagents to downtown hospital clinical diagnostic and core labs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business while retaining existing major clients
  • Maintain multiple levels of strategic contacts within these accounts
  • Deal with quotations, RFPs, contracts, and tenders
  • Attend and represent company at meetings and shows
  • Provide forecasts and reports
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or M.Sc. with appropriate experience
  • 5 years of hands-on successful business development / sales experience, preferably in the niche Toronto Hospital Clinical Diagnostics Laboratory sector
  • List of key personal contacts / decision makers in the GTA
  • Able to make an impact, and handle long, 2 to 3 year sales cycles
  • Outstanding sales and bus dev track record
  • Proactive, with strong leadership and technical skills
  • Strong technical scientific background
  • Excellent customer relationship management
  • Experience with MS software
