Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Systems Technician to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As a key member of our security solutions team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms
  • Pre-wire, install, program, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems
  • Prepare and execute Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client, and future service needs
  • Assist in system design and layout
  • Provide customer training for proper system usage and respond to technical inquiries
  • Build relationships with clients and prospects for future opportunities
  • Perform administrative duties, including project updates to project managers and completing and filing all project documentation
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry
  • Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset
  • Vendor certification in low-voltage systems is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with clean abstract
  • Ability to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industry
  • Ability to lift 50lbs consistently
  • Able to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills
