Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Spectrum Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans to patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of impairment and establish treatment goals
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to improve speech production, language comprehension, and swallowing function
  • Provide direct therapy to patients using a variety of treatment modalities, including articulation therapy, language therapy, and oral motor exercises
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to facilitate carryover of therapy techniques and strategies into daily life
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from a recognized program
  • Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in a community setting is an asset
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle
