ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Cleaner, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the facility maintains a clean, welcoming, and professional appearance at all times. Key duties include the upkeep of communal areas and restrooms, as well as performing tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing surfaces.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleaning and maintaining shared spaces, kitchens, and restrooms
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Washing windows and ensuring blinds are free of dust
- Disposing of waste properly
- Keeping all cleaning tools and supplies in a safe and hygienic condition
- Reporting any maintenance needs or necessary replacements
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols
- WHMIS Certification is advantageous
- Physical endurance and agility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend
- Capability to lift, push, and pull loads up to 50 lbs
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to pass a Canadian Background Check
