About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Dynamics 365 F&O Developer to join our Technology Team at Canada Goose Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying solutions and enhancements within the Dynamics 365 F&O platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Customize Solutions: Develop, modify, and customize solutions and enhancements within the Dynamics 365 F&O platform, including forms, reports, workflows, and dashboards.
  • Design and Deploy Power Apps: Design, build, and deploy Microsoft Power Apps to enhance the D365 F&O ecosystem.
  • Promote Code Changes: Promote code changes through established Unit, Integrated, and User Acceptance Testing processes with Visual Studio 2015+ and GIT.
  • Automate CI/CD Pipelines: Automate CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process of packages.
  • Manage Code Branches: Manage and maintain code branches, ensuring smooth integration and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum Development: Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, contribute to sprint planning and reviews, and adhere to best practices in coding and development.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Independently troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
  • Balance Multiple Requests: Balance multiple requests and tasks, effectively managing time and workload to meet deadlines.
  • Document Technical Solutions: Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations and integrations.
  • Conduct Unit and System Testing: Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of solid knowledge and experience with Design, Development, and Deployment using Dynamics (D365FO, AX2012R3, AX2009) with X++.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of object-based programming languages and various relational database management systems, including but not limited to Microsoft.NET technology, JAVA, JavaScript, XML/XSLT, Microsoft Visual Studio, X++, C#, VB.NET, SQL.
  • System Integration Experience: Experience in system integration and interfacing using Microsoft Azure and offerings therein (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Application Insights, Microsoft Power Platform etc.).
  • ERP Module Knowledge: Extensive Technical/Functional knowledge in Dynamics D365 ERP modules – Finance, Accounts Payable, Production, Accounts Receivable, Warehousing, Logistics, and Sales. Experience in the vertically integrated manufacturing and/or retail industries.
