About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at BLUE BIRD CUSTOM DESIGN LTD. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to create high-quality structures and features.
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems, ensuring stability and safety.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, paying close attention to detail and quality.
  • Conduct thorough cost estimates and material assessments to ensure efficient project execution.
Work Environment and Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying levels of noise and dust.
  • Regularly work outdoors, exposed to weather conditions.
  • Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, requiring strength, endurance, and agility.
  • Work with minimal supervision, taking initiative and making decisions independently.
