ROLE OVERVIEW:

In the capacity of Environmental Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring adherence to environmental legislation, executing sustainable initiatives, and enhancing environmental consciousness within our organization. Your collaboration with various departments will be essential in developing and managing environmental programs designed to minimize our ecological impact and reinforce our dedication to sustainability.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compliance Management: Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to environmental permits, reports, and inspections.
  • Environmental Systems Oversight: Conduct routine audits and manage the carbon footprint assessment tools.
  • Sustainability Efforts: Partner with cross-functional teams to pinpoint opportunities for resource optimization, waste reduction, and the implementation of sustainable practices.
  • Training and Development: Organize and facilitate training sessions on environmental policies, regulations, and best practices for staff.
  • Environmental Analysis: Evaluate data and trends to monitor progress towards environmental objectives and targets.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with external parties, including regulatory bodies, community organizations, and suppliers, to nurture positive relationships and address environmental issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management capabilities.
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range is set at $46,000 to $59,000, taking into account various factors and qualifications considered in compensation decisions, including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business requirements. Base salary is just one aspect of the comprehensive rewards package at Arterra.
